In Loving Memory of my Mother
Louise Louretta Stewart, beloved daughter of James and Sarah Higgins, was born on December 7th 1933 in St Ann, Jamaica West Indies. She is a registered nurse, graduated from Public General Hospital, Kingston Jamaica. She married Cleveland G Stewart September 5th 1959, at Kingston Parish Church and came to New York September 27th 1967. In New York, Louise worked at New York Hospital and then at Kings County Hospital where she received her New York Licensure. During her 25 years there, she worked in all surgical areas, including trauma, and the burn unit. She attended Brooklyn college where she earned a Masters degree in Health Science.
She has always brought happiness to her patients and to those around her. She departed this life, leaving to mourn her, her sisters Kathleen and Agnes, brother Felix, daughters Carole Denise and Novelette Aldoni, husband Cleveland, sons-in-law, Paul and Luke, grandsons Logan and Gabriel, grand-daughter Sygaellene, Beloved niece Hazel and other nieces, nephews, relatives and innumerable friends.
